Asbestos sampling (sometimes called “targeted sampling” ) is often the faster and cheaper option compared to a full asbestos survey in the following common situations:
- You just need certainty on a few specific items (e.g. Artex ceilings, floor tiles, garage roof) before carrying out DIY.
- Only certain materials have been disturbed or exposed during work. Targeted sampling confirms whether asbestos fibres are present.
- You need quick, conclusive laboratory proof for peace of mind or to satisfy a third party (tenant, building contractor, neighbour)
All samples are collected by BOHS qualified surveyors and analysed in our UKAS-accredited laboratory (ISO 17025) in strict accordance with HSG248 and the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
